I've made an executive decision here at the garden to share some top-secret information with you, my favorite reader (and other members of the general public). What info? The spud's names. As more and more of my IRL (in real life) friends become MOF (my online friends) security is being breeched anyway. So here they are----Meet the spuds:

they do exist!

I've heard tales of babies who are happy without being held all the time. I've heard tales of babies who fall asleep without nursing. I've heard tales of babies who sleep through the night before a year old. I've heard about them, I just have never had one of my own and was skeptical of their very existence.

Well, folks, I'm here to testify that they do exist! Little Susie Spud is proof. I'm hesistant to even say it out loud as I'm afraid that the magical spell will be broken. I never thought I'd see the day when a baby of mine would sleep through the night at 3 months old. Alas, Susie slept last night for 12 hours straight and I had to wake her up to eat. Not counting the momentary freak out I had at 5:30am when I realized I had not heard her all night long, it was a blissful night of sleep.
