a lesson for today

No matter how sweet she may appear...

If your little girl asks for an apple and you cut a pear instead thinking she won't notice or if she does notice she won't care....

Rest assured, she will notice and she will care. She will suddenly morph into a terrible toddler, throw the pear down in protest and scream "APPLE!"

Lesson Learned.

LOL! She looks way too cute and innocent to throw tantrums. I know, looks can be deceiving.

They are a lot smarter than we think, huh. I love it when my Cutie (2) stomps her feet and does a little dance while she screams at me.

How DARE you insult her intelligence! Of course she knows the difference between an apple and a pear. Sheesh! lol
And I agree w/the others...looks way too cute to ever be ornery :)

I have one of those. She sure looks angelic, but beware of the she-devil underneath.

They know so much more than we give them credit for.

We made the rule that if she throws a tantrum on the floor, she gets a splash of cold water on the face...we were desperate, 8-20 tantrums a day...we HAD it! No hate e-mails on this please. Hey, it doesn't leave a mark and she composes herself...who'd of thought.

Stephanie- my cousin's kid was so bad they started throwing her in the shower (cold) fully clothed. Shocked her right out of it- only had to do it twice for her to shape up...

Also- I'm with Sheri on this one- she had a right to be angry- you insulted her intelligence!

LOL, funny. My almost-2 daughter is always certain of what she wants, too, and she better get it OR ELSE!

LOL, Amber. That is how this started. Fully clothed in the shower. Wasn't convenient one day, so my icy bottle of water worked fine!

Good one Stephanie! I just put Fat Girl in her crib when she throws a fit. She stops before I get her there, but I leave her anyway. It's rather pathetic, b/c she'll sit in there saying "happy? happy?" until I come back.

Ah, I don't believe a trantrum could come out of that precious thing!

But then, I have a toddler who says (or signs I should say) "Apple" for any piece of fruit! lol

Note to self: fruit subsitution, don't try it. That's hysterical.
