tidbits

*My kids smell. They each have a signature scent. It is best enjoyed when going into their rooms at night after they have been in bed a few hours. I check on them at night before I go to bed to make sure they are happy, healthy, and comfy. But more so that I can breathe in their special scents. In a few years Little Boy's scent will turn into stinky gym socks so I am enjoying it while I can.

*Little Boy drew this picture and I was concerned. Mom, Dad, and Little Sister in orange smiling and Little Boy in brown frowning. Is my little boy depressed? Does he think he's not good. Is he unhappy? Does my little boy need a therapist at age four? So I asked him about it. He said, "That's not me. That's Little Sister. She always cries." Silly mommy.

*The Higglytown Heroes came to our house last night. Little Boy has excellent dreams every night. He comes out of his room in the morning excited to tell us about his dreams. Last night he dreamed that the Heroes they came over and helped him make a bird feeder. I'm so glad that he has fun while he sleeps. I just dream about wierd things.

*We are headed camping tomorrow! We are going camping in the Sierra Nevadas for four days. I'll be back next week with pictures, pictures, pictures!

Adios!

I've never noticed a smell about my kids. I'll be sure to check that out tonight, when I tuck my kids in bed.

Have fun camping!!!

One of my dear friends lost her daughter at age 3 to leukemia. She would go into her room and smell her clothes, pillow, and stuffed animals because she said that was the easiest way to remember and bring her back.

It is funny how we get attached to smell. I love the smell of my bed pillows after I've been out of town.

If Higglytown Heroes came to our house I think I'd consider that a nightmare.

I love Sam's smell. I often wonder if we'll feel some sort of special, secret love for those smelly gym socks too, just because they belong to our sons...probably not.

Hope you have a great trip. Is this the first camping trip for your kids? Hubby and I often wonder when we can take Sam camping and still enjoy it.

My little boy was born with stinky feet...no kidding. Even when he was first born and in the hospital the nurses would be shocked by how much his foot would make the little foot monitor thingy stink, but other than his feet, I agree with you I love his, smell, although consiering what I mentioned above, I am terrified of the gym socks ot come.

I'm loving the picture Little Boy drew. A-Boy drew pictures of me yesterday. Apparently I am two very skinny lines. I was flattered. I don't often FEEL like two skinny lines you see.

Have a good time in Good Ole Cal. And have even MORE fun trying to post those vacation pics on blogger. She sucks as of late. :)

And I'm glad you little guy won't be needing any therapy. He's so doggone cute!

Have a GREAT time on your vacation! I can't wait to see pictures. You know how I love pictures of your adorable kids
(ps. I put Kelly in that blue floral dress today that I got from you. Too small. Oh, the tears!)

I love my kids smells'. Love them. Ethan and Tyler are getting less sweet and more "stinky gym socks" but I still take in a wiff each night!
