the time has come...

...for this mom of a certain Little Boy to start checking pockets on laundry day.
Marbles, wood chips, rocks, coins, nails, beads, foam, and crayons have made their way into my washing machine hitchhiking in Little Boy's pockets. I'm starting a collection and refuse to empty it because it makes me smile every time I do the wash. I'm just adding to it and maybe I'll take another picture in a couple months.
I'm just grateful that dark crayon didn't make it into the dryer.

I have to do that with my dh... and my ds is just starting to put things in his pockets! Your little boy is WAY TOO CUTE though, I think he's teaching my ds how to be as cute as he is!

Way to see the cute side of things! That tray is a great idea for keeping that stuff!

I must ditto what queenmeadow said! IS that the purpose of that tray? I thought it was just a dustball collector. :-)C

ah... so the dryer is the evil crayon culprit?

i had a red crayon go through the washer... and was befuddled b/c it didn't melt and make the huge mess that i remember everyone talking about... phew!

we actually had to have a repairman come out and fix our washing machine b/c of a pocket hitch-hiker.

Awesome!!!
Although if you wait another few months to take a picture, you're going to need a bucket instead
